JORDIE LANE Announces Songs & Stories project ‘Back In Time’. This being the 2nd Single Release

10 Songs reimagined, 10 Spoken Stories told, Every Friday from October 9, 2020


Beloved Melbourne born, Songwriter & Folk-roots Troubadour Jordie Lane, has announced a new recording project ‘Back In Time’ with fellow Nashville based writer/producer ‘Lollies’ (also known as Clare Reynolds).

‘Back In Time’ features 10 reimagined versions of songs from Lane’s back catalog,
recorded live in their Nashville home studio during Covid-19 Pandemic lockdowns. With little more than a Hi-Strung Acoustic Guitar and a small battery powered Casio Keyboard. With a unique element added, Lane will also release accompanying spoken stories alongside each song bringing a personal and insightful ‘Diary-entry’ aspect to the project.

Lane says:
‘The reasoning for doing this came about with the gift that was given amongst all this chaos and uncertainty…Time. Time to reflect, to to listen, time to learn. And going back to these old songs and the stories behind them is helping us understand a little more about the past, and to try and make our futures better. That’s the hope, anyway!’

‘Back In Time’ - Songs & Stories [Reimagined],
will be released one song and accompanying story each Friday, for 10 weeks.
Via Lane’s own independent label, Blood Thinner Records, and will be available on all streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple and Amazon, and fans will have the opportunity to get it all in advance by heading to jordielane.com and signing up for the Newsletter.
